Answers with explanations:-

1.C)
Cost price of article = (996+894/2= Rs 945

2.D)
Total CP = (25 *32+15*36)=Rs 1340
Total SP = (25+15)*40.20 =Rs 1608
Profit percent = [(1608-1340)*100]/1340=20 %

3.D)
CP of 30 kg of wheat = 30 *45= 1350
SP of 40/100 of 30 kg of wheat =12 * 50 = 600
Required SP of 30 kg of wheat = 1350 * 125/100= Rs 1687.50
SP of remaining 18 kg of wheat = (1687.5-600)=Rs 1087.5
SP of remaining 1 kg of wheat = Rs 1087.5/18= Rs 60

4.D)
5 % = 51
100% = 51/5 * 100=1020

5.E)
Let the actual price of mobile phone be Rs 100
Purchase price = (100-5)=Rs 95
Selling price = 95 * (100+10)/100=9.5 * 11
Profit percentage = [(9.5 *11)*100]/100= 4.5 %

6.B)
Discount = 8 % of printed price
SP= Rs (20000-1600) =Rs 18400
Gain % =25
Cost price = (100*18400)/125= Rs 14720

7.D)
Gain % = [(30-27)*100]/27= 100/9 %

8.A)
Let the original price be Rs 100
After 5 % discount , its SP = (100-5) =Rs 95
SP of article = 504 * 95/100= Rs 478.50
Let the CP be Rs 100
Then SP =100+20=120
CP of article = 407.80 * (100/120) = Rs 399

9.E)
Let the selling price = X
According to the question,
75 % of X =1545
or x = (1545 *100)/75= 2060

10.C)
Shopkeeper’s net profit = 200 gram
Cost price of 100 gram = SP of 800 gram
So profit % = (200*100)/800= 25%
